RESPONSE TO BEHAVIOURIST ART AND THE CYBERNETIC VISION

I thought the reading was interesting and felt like something that could have been written today. One part that stood out the most was how this type of art was more reliant on its viewers as participants rather than passive onlookers. Many of the slides shown in class reflect this idea of the viewer becoming a part of the piece itself rather than seeing it from a distance. It was also interesting that he pointed out how this new movement has the ability to engender more ideas and possibilities than any other before it.
